What are we going to be doing?
We are going to install the first stages of the sound proofing system.

What is the sound proofing system?
The sound proofing system consists of a series of metal strips run along the studs of a wall. Some of us will chalk lines as guides every 16 inches for these strips. Some of us will use an air stapler to tack these metal strips along the wall on these lines. These strips hold a sheet product called “sound board,” and the drywall installed over the top of it away from the wall 1/2” to…

The work crews started framing today at the North Campus. It is amazing to see how fast the walls are going up. It did not take long for the campus and especially the Children’s/Preschool area to start taking shape. I was afraid that once the walls were put into place that everything would seem too small, but I am very excited about all the rooms and the great size and feel!

The Children’s/Preschool is almost completely framed in, and they are supposed to be finished with all the framing by the end of this week. Next, they will start working on the electrical as well as the HVAC (heating and air).

Keep praying that everything goes smoothly and that we are able to stay on target with all of the construction. Come by sometime and check out the progress, and use this time to begin praying for all the people…
